Mike Says

Use the estimate to start a conversation.

A calculator can help you explore an idea. Your goals, budget and the details behind the numbers help us decide what makes sense for you.

Still early in the process? See how a prequalification conversation works.

Which calculator should I use first?

Start with the mortgage payment calculator when buying. Use the refinance comparison for an existing mortgage, or the home equity tools when considering a separate loan, credit line or cash-out refinance.

Will a calculator tell me what I qualify for?

No. These tools estimate numbers using the information and assumptions entered. Before making an offer, my preapproval process includes a review of your income, assets and credit documents.

What should I check for a Kansas City home?

Use property-specific tax information, an insurance estimate and any HOA dues. Not every tool includes every cost. Keep down payment, closing costs, prepaid items and the money you want left after closing in the conversation, too.

Conversations are free.

Let's put your numbers in context.
